Its robust Teak frame and high concentration of natural oils and minerals offer excellent resistance to moisture, rot, insect activity and fungal decay, ensuring long-lasting durability with minimal maintenance.
As with all natural Teak furniture, surface oil may be present on delivery. This is normal and will naturally disappear within 7–10 days as the timber acclimatises to its surroundings. Each unit will also develop the characteristic silver-grey patina of Teak over time, although regular application of Teak treatment can help preserve the original golden hue.
The British climate may occasionally cause small cracks or checks, particularly on exposed end grain, as the timber responds to fluctuations in temperature and humidity. These natural movements are purely cosmetic and do not affect the structural integrity or lifespan of your outdoor kitchen.
