Upon delivery, a surface oil may be present on the wood—this is normal and will dissipate naturally within 7–10 days as the cabinet acclimatises. Each piece is unique, featuring natural variations in colour and grain. Minor checking or cracking can occur, particularly on end grain, due to the timber expanding and contracting with the British climate. These are purely cosmetic and do not compromise the cabinet’s durability or structural integrity.
