The BBQ itself features six powerful stainless steel burners that offers an impressive total heat output of 90,000 BTU, providing ample power for grilling a variety of dishes. These burners are accompanied by a a stainless steel hood with cool-to-touch technology and stainless steel flame tamers that ensure even heat distribution, reducing flare-ups for perfectly cooked food every time. Draco Grills' Teak Outdoor Kitchens are made entirely from recycled Teak, known for its minimal maintenance requirements due to its high content of natural oils and minerals. This makes the Teak naturally resistant to water, rot, insect infestation, fungal decay, and mildew. With proper care and attention, your Teak kitchen will remain in excellent condition for many years.
As a natural material, reclaimed Teak exhibits variations in colour and grain, which add to its unique charm. When first delivered, your Teak units may show traces of surface oil, which is entirely normal and will disappear within 7-10 days as the wood acclimates to its new environment. Over time, the timber will develop a silver-grey patina, a hallmark of Teak, unless you choose to maintain its golden hue with specialised Teak treatments.
The British climate, with its fluctuating temperatures and humidity, can sometimes cause small cracks or checking in the wood, particularly on the end grain. These natural occurrences are nothing to worry about and do not compromise the structural integrity or longevity of your kitchen unit.
